A little while ago, with a liberty coin in a happy hand, I picked up the Pixie Glow Tonic (£18), a gentle toner in a glycolic formula (5%) with aloe vera and ginseng. Glow Tonic is an oil-free, alcohol-free toner that works to renew the skin's surface by removing dead skin cells with delicate chemical exfoliation making for skin that's bright, smooth and serene.

The tonic can be applied to the face, neck and décollotage with a soaked cotton pad up to twice a day.
I've been using the zesty orange liquid two to three times a week for a few months now and I've really noticed a difference in my dull and congested complexion. I struggle with blackheads but I find manual scrubs can often make things worse. This on the other hand, gets to work like a trooper, it tingles slightly (in a glorious way) when first applied, but over time, it helps to eradicate blocked pores and dry skin, leaving skin feeling firm, fresh and renewed.
